At 10:45 p.m., two people drove up near the ATM and tried to rob an individual, who suffered a graze wound to the arm.

Walker has the following suggestions:

• Stay in well-lit areas.

• Travel in groups, if possible.

• Do not leave your car running and unattended.

• Keep your head on a swivel when unloading your car of groceries, etc.

• Park in well-lit areas.

• Use ATMs indoors as opposed to outdoors.

• Avoid standing alone at bus shelters.

• Always be aware of your surroundings.

• Avoid walking while using your cell phone.

• Maintain communication with your neighbors.

• Trust your gut. If something doesn’t feel right, keep driving or moving.

• Keep your camera systems maintained and operational.

• Keep your homes and businesses well lit during the evening hours. ••
